Description
“Hey Frank, look at that guy on top of the bread van taking pictures. Should we wave?”
“Naw, he probably wants ‘action shots’.” “Did you get the latest altimeter setting?”
“Yep, 2990. Hey did you ever consider taking pictures of all that goes on? You know like the day to day stuff?”
“What do mean Vern?”
“Well, like stuff like, preflight, the planes we fly,, you know all this stuff?”
“Why, when they’ve got official photographers to do that.”
‘No, I mean, like the regular stuff. Not the ‘action’ shots, I mean like all this stuff we see and do.”
“What ever for?”
“Well you never know, maybe one of us may become an artist or something in the future and say forty years from now, you’re sitting there trying to recreate what you saw.”
“Never thought of that, but you’ve seen my attempt at art or what ever you want to call it. I’m not cut out to do that sort of thing. Roger ground, Ford copies. Command post wants to talk to us.
“Rog, switching over”. :)
All stuff built or modified in Wings.

The F-4 to me means Bill Murden Director of Advanced Programs and Analysis at MACAIR St. Louis. He was the man I did not wish to alienate with my insidious investigation of missile armed fighter effectiveness. He extended all courtesies of the company to me when I was in St. Louis more than once. His counterpart at Douglas, R.C.P. Jackson had a pretty wife named Polly for which lore you must consult a list of George Washington's former girl friends.

I love this image and your others, but wish you could change the ground surface to a much much larger texture and if you can further add decals to break up the pavement. the models are really excellent and the settings you create are wonderful.

Much as I loathe war, I am still fascinated by all the hardware, particularly the aircraft. The F-4 was always one of my favorites. Nice render all around.
