Description

Although they are one of the most menacing creatures I have ever encountered, they are harmless (at least they say!). I photographed this one at Tirimbina, Sarapiqui - Costa Rica. Hope no nightmares come your way involving this guy. Thanks for all your comments!

Had an Emperor Scorpion once. Best pet in the house. Much more menacing than this poor little fellow and yet it turned out to be mostly gentle though it was always handled with respect. Nice macro of an interesting specimen.
