Description

Here at the waterfront of the shopping district in a bustling town a young women stares deep off into the river thinking about the past as she readies for the future. She seeks out new opportunities and sets a course towards new uncharted lands wanting to see what more does life has to offer, what hidden treasures awaits for her?, what new people and places will she see? To add to her existing knowledge the things she does not yet know. To experience life to it’s fullest potential, always looking for the things not yet seen. There is an old Chinese proverb “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step” and yes her journey will be long and vast, she will endure both hardship and solace, and will make new friends as well as new foes; but to not start this journey would be the worst case of regret of all. And she can rest assured that on her journey those from her past who dearly love her and understands her need to star anew will support her on her quest; always watching and waiting to hear the tales of the new wonders she has discover, the interesting people she has come across; as well as to lend a hug and provide comfort when not all goes according to plan. So set forth on your journey and leave knowing in your heart we will never forget you as we know you’ll never forget us, and know that the road home will always be open and lighted to guide you back with welcome warm hearts and tender loving hugs. Model: Jackie Camera: Fuji FinePix S700 Location: Edgewater NJ My beloved and dear friend Jackie and I spent this afternoon by the waterfront of Edgewater as we look towards the NYC skyline talking about the past and wondering about our future and what we want from it. About creating new friendships and expanding our horizons, It was this that inspired the words for this piece; as for the photo shot? well ^__^ she got a new haircut and just look so freaking cute I couldn't resist.

She really does look like a gentle person, full of hopes, dreams and ready to act on any of it the moment the opportunity presents itself. Beautiful lady... and an equally stunning portrait.
