Description

This is just a fun "snapshot" image of Kayla, my granddaughter, losing the battle with an ice-cream way back in March or April I think while we were visiting the zoo! I loved how her eyes turned all red and teary when she bit the piece of cone off and landed a whole mouthful of ice-cream at once... Kids and ice cream ... the perfect combination for messes and photos. :-) She really looks so adorable here. You got a great moment in this and its even better because she was not looking straight at you like my grandkids seem to do. They really love to ham it up for the camera and I prefer them when they don't notice me...and that goes even for times when I'm not taking photos of them! :-)

Oh, this reminds me of my son's first ice cream cone. He was just a baby, maybe a year old. I make the mistake of giving it to him in the car--there was chocolate EVERYWHERE, when he outgrew the car seat, I found some completely solidified under the seat pad---wish I'd had my camera then!! This is such a sweet shot---and she just gets cuter every single day!!
