Description
....once a year, the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede, two years older than that Calgary one, but it gets all the attention. But for the people of The hat, this is a cultural event, one of those things that you wait all year for, not just for the farm shows, the rodeo, the bands... but for the Midway... coloured lights, sounds, smells (ahh, the smells of food, mini donuts, cottoncandy....shawarma), and the people.... throngs of people, all ages,all histories, milling about.... young kids on their first dates, adults remembering their first dates...
squealing kids, entranced with the spectacle surrounding them...eyes wide, smiling, laughing...

Looks like a real HOOT Collin, the total opposite to your last post ! Funny that your are having you annual show now, as in Brisbane they are celebrating "Ekka" which is very similar, first dates, fun rides, candy of all types, hordes of people, farm animals and flooded with multi-coloured neon !
