Description
I came across this Dragonfly while coming down off a hill today.
I think it was getting ready for take off but it was kind enough to stay still for a couple of seconds for me, ... no superglue involved what so ever!

A crackin' capture, Anthony. I tried to take a couple of shots of a beautiful snail the other day, after nearly standing on it. Not being as sprightly as I once was, the angle was well off. This is quite incredible. As for its fortunate delay, I reckon that the 'puir wee beastie' probably had to adjust its sunglasses before takeoff, clear customs, and file a flight plan, etc. ... ;o) Warm regards, my friend, as 'summer' returns to the Glasgow area, John.
