Description

The lighting on this one doesn't really seem to match what's behind the character, but I couldn't figure out how to match that realistically and still have the face visible. Struggle, struggle.

Thank you for the comments, ratings and favourites on my last upload, "Sun Flower". Suggestions for improvement and tips are always much appreciated.

Maybe it a color issue.. Try matching the color of the light to the color in the window. Starting with the brightest section of the window to the darkest. Just a suggestion... Great image though!

I'm not sure why one cannot assume that a light, perhaps reading light, could not be off scene producing the light... I think it is a great scene.

The lighting looks great. The light on her face could be coming from a lamp. This looks like it could be a scene from a Star Wars book. Well done!

Excellent and very well done! Not sure if the lighting is noticable as different or not as she is in an office where not all the lights are visible to the viewer - assume you are refering to the lighting on the gold lettering of the book bindings?

@dbrv6, yeah... behind her we see the gleam of the bindings on those books, and the books that are actually on the desk are just dead and muddy, and it looks "off" to me, but I can't pinpoint why.
