fine detail on the foreground grasses, you composed a very full but haunting vision, your hollow trunk captures the sense of this being forlorn, the lone bird on it is a very harmonious touch, the small house in the background is wonderfully alone, and the sky seems rich and quite pervasive. A very fine evocation of your title, it's rich but forlorn, curiously empty but very full; and overall though there isn't much human presence here (but for the house), it feels like a land that people could inhabit very easily. Very fine & haunting work...
