Yellow water lily from the Japanese garden at MooseRidge.
Can you tell from the title what caught my eye about this shot? All the fancy little things light does ... I never get tired of it!
For all you bug lovers out there ... I have to say, most of the time I see a bug-on-a-flower shot and think, "pretty flower ... shame about the bug being in the way!" (I am not in love with insect life, as you may already know!) This flower had all sorts of little bugs crawling all over it. I took 'em out. I tell you this because otherwise you would never know how easy it is to remove unsightly bugs from your pretty flower pictures! LOL!

Power of suggestion at work. You say surface tension and I can't stop looking at all the tension in this pic :) If there were any bugs, I probably wouldn't notice them. This is simple and cool. The Budweiser Frog would like it here.

Great capture Tara! Yellow is my fav color in the waterlilies. I think I see what you mean by the title. The light at the edges of the leaves against the dark water??? Lol @ the bug free zone!

I like bugs and all but i know where you comeing from... it like the man ask his wife to cook two eggs ; one over easy and the other stramble. The wife do this and the man says" You did wrong for you stramble the wrong one" you can not please people just yourself
