Description

I was down by the boat docks and Tom was yapping his head off to another boater so naturally I got bored and started walking around ...almost missed these 2! Next couple of pics will be closer shots of just the snake and frog ....he was very unusal in color and bigger than my fist is round! If anyone knows what kind of snake that is I would appreciate it!! Of course ..I didn't get too close! I have to thank you all for the laughter you left me with on my last upload ..keep the jokes coming!! Hope your having a terrific weekend! Hugs Trina Zoom is a must!

Mr. Frog looks like his eyes are as big as saucers. Wonder what he is thinking? You get the humor because you seem to have a natural bent for finding animals doing some funny things. Way to go.

I would have thought that the frog would have been a snack. Holding my breath for part 2. Dana

The frog is thinking, "That's a pretty long bug!" The snake is thinking, "That would be a stretch for my mouth!"

I don't know what the snake is either but you can google for snakes native to that area. Love the details and clarity of this beautiful work of nature!

Wonder if the frog is gulping & staying still. Before I saw a hypnotist I wouldn't have looked at this pic as I had a desperate phobia to frogs.

This is so unusual. Marvellous shot. Have no idea about the snake. Perhaps its tummy is full.

A very excellent photograph. The perspective is good; the frog in the foreground gives depth to the image. (Thank god no blurred "DOF" effect I hate that! ) The water is soo artistic, If I didn't knew better I would say it was Vue water but it is real..A dramatic situation, the frog need to watch out! And finally the colours are sparkling clear.

Fascinating shot, getting the two of them together. This is a bullfrog. Common to the middle and southern United States (but not as common as they once were). The kind of frog that Mark Twain wrote of. They make a marvelously deep and resonant sound during the evening hours as they call out to one another. And they DO grow big!

Its safe to say I have never had the opportunity to get a shot like this!!! Outstanding effort.
