When Built: July 1973 Dimensions: Height: 23 Feet (7 Metres) Construction Materials: Metal Location: Eastern Edge of Town Reason for Building: Erected in recognition of 50 years of continuous operation of Symons Oil Can Factory. Additional Information: The Chamber of Commerce erected the giant oil can scaled exactly to size to recognize Rocanville as oil can capital of the world. this is in rocanville saskatchewan where we made a fast pit stop on our way home.
