Description

I borrowed a line from Dylan Thomas "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night" A poem he wrote for his Father. Here is some of it. Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. My Alex caught and sang the sun in flight.

I agree with Carlx, the title fits perfectly. The design is wonderful, but it's pretty somber for you, Jenny! :-)

Impressive, Jenny. Both the image and the poem, although I knew some lines of it.

somber, moody and dark, but that's ok; there's a time and place for all of those feelings, too. celebrate the life that was and be comforted in the good memories. hugs

Exemplary. I borrowed those words to introduce A Time to Grieve, I also borrowed John Donne's No man is an island Alone of itself... ...the death of one man diminisheth me.... And an ancient Sanscrit text--a Hymn to the sun. Jen These memories are stirred up in me by this so very strong and beautiful fractal. It's not your most beautiful, nor your strongest work. Yet it is utterly appropriate and sensitive. Thankyou. It's good to think about these things from time to time
