As promised, here's what I've been able to do with Poser 8's Alyson so far. Alyson has no dynamic hair and her own dynamic dress won't cover her boobs so I had to pull from my library (which I was able to recover thanks to Geek Squad, but we'll get to that). I have to say that Ryan was much easier to use in the face room in order to spawn decent face morphs. I got okay results with Alyson, but nothing that could be used in close up. Poser actually crashed and I had to pull this image out of the render cache. Bagginsbill has been covering the new render functions in the Poser forum. Just my personal taste, but I have noticed that the HSV Exponential exposure works better as long as there are only a few lights in the scene. The more lights you add and subtle details like reflection, ambient occlusion, and shadows start to look washed out. But I definitely recommend playing with it to see whether you like it for some light sets over others. So on a side note, I was able to get my files back from my PC hard drive thanks to Geek Squad. I don't know if I would ever recommend them to anyone since I have a paranoia that they went digging through my files. Not that anything's there, but I was a bit worried about the fact the DAZ kids are naked in their product thumbnails.
