Description

This pigeon spent the whole day flying back and forth collecting things to build her nest. she is building in an area where I hope to get some pictures of the eggs and the chicks. She was so fast in her flight that this was the best picture I got out of about 50 pictures. I could have got a good one on the ground but I wanted her in flight. I did just a bit of a color boost. Tanner turned 7 weeks old today, what amazing changes he is going thru! Had his first bath yesterday and he loved it! I didn't get pictures because he was on a stool in the shower and I was afraid he would fall while I tried to get a good shot. Maybe next time. He went outside after his bath and headed straight for the wettest and muddiest spot he could find...so much for the bath, lol! He had a hard play day outside today and is now sound asleep! Thanks for looking and for previous comments and favs!

Yes I know its not in focus, had you read my description you would realize why...first the bird was a good twenty feet above my head and flying rapidly. This was the best of about 50 shots, sorry if you did not understand.

Well caught as they fly so fast. I'm having a little chuckle over Tanner.

I understand Tanner's behavior. I see it with my girls. He is all about comfort. I also love this shot and the freedom it represents.
