Fantastic... my only critical input might be on the pose... from this point of view he looks like he's shrugging or being pushed off balance by the surge of rats (ala Willard). Perhaps a staff or glaive to balance it off might give him a more commanding and less tentative footing? Only a suggestion, please feel free to ignore.
