Description

Hi all - This is experiment # 4 with Poser 8. I decided to really test this software. I started creating this picture last night (but didn't feel well so I didn't finish it until tonight.) This is a full on render from Poser and I loaded it up with several characters and props. I did some special lighting - added a couple extra lights even. And finally I cranked up the render settings. This picture rendered extremely fast. Like about in 10 to 15 minutes. (I lost track because I was working on dishes at the time.) Anyhoo, I spent much more time just setting this pic up than in doing the render time. I even rerendered it several times to get this the way I wanted it to be. I am very pleased with Poser 8 in relation to render times. I'm not too thrilled with the library interface. The icons are really small. But otherwise, I'm able to do all kinds of things easily. Anyway, here you see a lovely sorceress doing magic with her crystal ball. She's being watched by her companions - a python and a dragon. They are most eager to see what she'll create. And it's fun to watch the light show. Please zoom for details. Lots to see. Thanks sooooo much for your favs and comments on my last three pics. I appreciate it. I have done my best to get caught up on comments. I had to take a break tonight but I'll catch up tomorrow.

Lori you really do know how to create magic as this one is loaded with it ! Really love how your incredible special effects are the centerpiece here and all the action seems to spring forth from them. The sorceress looks like she is totally in command as she draws support from her two friends here in weaving her spells. Sorry you've been sick, hope your better soon :)

Holy smoke you are not kidding when you said you cranked up the detail. Every wisp of smoke is evident and you can actually pick out the individual grains in the wood wall! Absolutely priceless look on the Anaconda face... like he is really giving her the "you go girl" cheer. Special affects lighting on the candles is amazing but that crystal ball is beyond belief, to die for, drop dead gorgeous. I see at least three maybe 4 or more special brush affects being used there all in perfect harmony. That has got to be the best crystal ball that I have seen.
