Description

So here’s the final render of my “Frankenstein’s wire bride” with some post work in Photoshop. The whole scene was modeled and build in 3d Coat, it’s fully 3d down to the tiniest wire. I exported all the part as obj. files imported them into Zbrush and did the renders in Zbrush as I can grab a depth alpha in Zbrush which allows me to easily add additional effects later in Photoshop. Oh, and here a little not to Callum :-): Hi my friend, NOOOOOOOO it is not better than Zbrush, Zbrush’s brushes and possibility are much more than you could ever do in 3dCoat, but this voxel sculpting thing is extremely cool, hope they will implement something like that in Zbrush as well once version 4 is coming. The cool thing about this voxel technology is that it is similar to the possibilities with Zbrush’s pixols just that it is fully 3d, speak you can turn your scene and work full 3d on it. Which makes things really fast, fun and easy. Especially cool for quick concepts or quick base meshes that you can import into Zbrush and do there the final details :-). The scene you see above took me only one afternoon with all the sculpting work!

Beautifully (and chillingly) done. I had to jump my jaw when I saw the title as I just finished up a piece that I had titled "Frankenstein's Bride"! However it is quite different in composition - thank goodness. I was all ready to sign on as a believer in ESP :o) Keep up the good work.

It's simply amazing. It boggles the mind how you can get this to come out the way it does. Truly talented.
