Description

This is the 'positive' of the bug I posted yesterday. I think it's a cricket. Here in Italy we have a saying, s/he springs or jumps like a cricket to mean one is both joyful, merry and healthy. But we also have the Talking Cricket (Jimmy cricket) who knew all, and was hit by an old boot for it in Pinocchio. Do you know other sayings about this bug? Thank you for your kind comments.

Yep! I am told to have a cricket in your house is good luck! Great shot, the crickets here are black or brown, not nearly as colorful as this guy!

This flip side is quite an artistic statement! Love how the colors blend together so harmoniously! Nature sure knows what she is doing! Magnificent capture and no, I can't think of any cricket sayings. I always loved Jiminy Cricket in the Disney Pinnochio movie and other cartoons! Fond memories.
