*suzanne's egg is the basis for the metamorphosis theme in the 2d forum this month*
...I wanted to respond to the challenge and i was not able...so,i said: i give up,lol,I have not imagination for "eggs"!!! annnnd it come...
Then,i titled this way...i hope you like it.;O)

Ana, I totally love this work of art. I can see an egg and a chick hatching, and I can see a cocoon with a butterfly emerging. The latter appeals to me personally, as I see it as symbolic of a human emerging to life. It is a wonderful interpretation of the egg metamorphosis. This is definitely a fav for me.

People here saw a heart & soul emerging: I did too. It's like a human soul, rolled into an egg, and suspended from a tree-branch. And it's ready to bloom! I'm amazed how you made this after seeing Suzanne's egg: You looked "into" Suzanne's egg (a wonderful drawing from Suzanne), and you turned it into a vision of souls 'emerging'. I love how it's suspended in air. More beautiful work from you, Ana, and more intuition. Your art comes from deep inside your soul. Just beautiful...

Hmm, don't know anything about the challenge, tho it's vaguely egg shaped. To me this is more archetypical in design - the mythic going into the hole in the ground, the dark place, then coming out of that 'reborn'; a journey into the dark, over coming what is found there through courage or in this case imagination. One never can predict what the audience/viewer's frame of reference will be! ~tim
