A photo I took before I became miserably ill with this respiratory thing... okay enough self pity! lol. I thought this photo turned out pretty cool. It's the leaf from a Giant Bird of Paradise Plant. Thanks for looking :) My previous upload, "Blue Bee Baggage".

OMG, I never knew that Bird of Paradise leaves comes in corduroy, Melinda! Super colors and textural patterns in this shot of the equidistantly placed ribs. Striations galore!

I love close ups/macros of leaves! This is no exception. It's wonderful work and I love the richness of the green. Superb stuff here! Hopefully that respiratory thing clears up!
