Description

This paraglider was hovering overhead yesterday afternoon, as I was walking up the path that led to the 'Schauinsland', the highest summit of the Black Forest in Germany, overlooking the city of Freiburg-im-Breisgau. A minimalist photo to express fun and freedom...

Très réussi :) Pas évident à faire, j'ai essayé à Annecy il y a deux ans. J'étais au sommet d'où ils partaient et j'en ai réussi une semblable à celle-ci mais le parachute est bleu sur un ciel très bleu :) Pas un aussi beau contraste qu'ici.

I love the contrast between the deep red and the deep blue. I appreciate that you chose not to show any ground in this, making us feel like we're up there with the paraglider and have a sense of that freedom. Great shot!

Je mourrais de trouille si j'étais accroché à l'un de ces engins...et pourtant, c'est tentant quand on les voit voltigeant, libres...comme l'air ! Grenoble est un haut lieu pour ce sport et l'on en voit tous les jours au-dessus de nos têtes, mais et ça ne s'explique pas, je n'ai jamais fait de photo ! Pour en réussir une comme la tienne, il ne suffit pas de lever la tête ! Superbe.
