Description
This is a new project Im working on, a collection of low polygon "bible people" that can be dropped into old world scenes. This shows Villager Woman, using three different texture maps and 12 different poses. The goal here isn't to create a "Poser like" experience but provide a low overhead way to populate backgrounds with real 3D people.
What I did here was create the women in MAX, import into Shade 10 beta and make adjustments for exporting again as OBJ and 3DS. The exporter in Shade 10 beta produced much better results than I got from MAX.
Then, I imported these characters into Vue 6 Infinite. The building behind the women is the Egyptian Bakery, and the one you see on the right is Egyptian Wine Maker. The walls are simply cubes with the stone texture applied from those models. The plant bunches are a nice ecosystem that ships with Vue, plus our biblical Flowering Almond Tree for Vue (its a solidgrowth type tree).

Excellent work indeed, perhaps some of them for Poser as well? ;)

We are planning a "standard" version and a "pro" version. The Pro versions will have the models all rigged. The Poser rigging isn't as mature as a normal Poser character, but will allow things like arm movement, basic body movement, feet movement, etc.

This is the first in a "family" of six characters (just putting the touches on boy and girl). I really wanted some lighter weight characters I could put into an ancient world scene that wouldn't cause a bunch of memory issues.
