Description

I'd say they have bought wine to celebrate the new car and I have only purchased Poser 8 and no money left for wine... Trying out my new 'car' - Poser 8 and here especially the global lighting. Might be an interesting feature when I some day will have learned to manage it. P8 in toto is not my first choice I'm sorry to say. I do not see what's better with the new interface (getting old and hostile to changes obviously) and I do not like the new library thing which is quite uncomfortable to my settled ways of using multiple runtimes and I do not like the mini-mini thumbnails at all... Haven't had time to try other new features, in fact haven't found much of them yet, I'll postpone my verdict and only say that I like the render engine which is reasonably faster that P7. There was no out of memory crash too so far. I must say this of P8 ;-) ***** Personally I'd like to tell you that circumstances forced me to take on a job to finace my post grad studies and working at our municipal archive three days a week since 1 July doesn't leave much time for what I liked to do best in the past... SO know how you feel on this, though with me it's D|S 3 Advanced. Love how the building rendered, and I'm curious on 8, that's for sure. Global seems to work rather well, and the car's not shabby either! Is that straight 'out of the box' or did you work shaders onto her? XD

Love the mini - working with a friend who is having terrible problems with P8 - dont they ask anyone who actually USES the program what would be a good change or not - they still cant make it import your old runtime and I can do it in 10 minutes by hand......dont they even think about what they are doing??? Great job though - the GI looks promising...

A NEW CAR.... Where have I heard that before? Bob Barker and "The Price is Right".... do you get that where you live? Where I live, they show it as if it has been around forever and will be here long after I die.... It's just a game show where people guess the price on advertized merchandice... Your driver even looks like one of the girls that shows of the merchandice - oh and Bob Barker did it with almost all his models - ok.... you have been Educated on the Price is Right now - lol Nice Picture.

Thanks for the heads up, I think I will wait a little while before considering another upgrade. This looks like a fun scene. Two lovely girls riding in a sexy car. No doubt the stereo is just a blaring.
