Description

Utrecht is one of the biggest Dutch cities. It still holds many treasures of the past. What you see here is one of those treasures. Of course I am talking of the city canal, but more important the 'werven' (cannot translate that). I mean the 'streets' alongside the city canal. As you can see here, the houses are built on a higher level. The 'werven' are only to be found in Utrecht. BTW: I changed my Avatar, cause today I've found the photocamera where it all began with. My first camera!. It now looks antique.

A most interesting layout and structure of such a gorgeous city! It seems like such a romantic place to be... I can just imagine taking a walk here... even at night time, this must be most peaceful and stunning!
