The images I have chosen to show on Renderosity are just a small sample of my 2D vector and 3D CGI artwork. Interested viewers are invited to also visit my personal website: http://www.dcmstarships.com BIO I enjoy creating original designs of speculative starships, space stations, and futuristic architecture. I started out using TrueSpace for 3D modeling and rendering. Now, I use Rhino5 for 3D modeling and rendering. 2D touch up work on my images is done with Corel Draw and Corel Photo-Paint. For backgrounds, I have used Hubble Space Telescope photos, Universe Image Creator, Lunar Cell and various Photoshop tools provided by fellow Renderosity artists. In addition to making my own artwork, I enjoy reviewing the work of other 3D CGI artists, especially those also doing spaceships. I try to support my fellow Renderosity artists by making supportive comments on those images that catch my eye. I like to buy science fiction themed 3D CGI parts and custom photoshop brushes from the Renderosity Marketplace as another way to support my fellow artists.

Nice up-close detail. The "upside down" view through me for a bit of a loop, though, until I get used to it.

Most impressive fleet work!!! Excellent designs!!!

Just a niggly. Add one or two of the LKGs (Light Kinetic Gun) on the stern to cover your six. Those PDGs on the stern don't offer enough coverage.

INCREDIBLE fleet!!!

In response to Bill Wa's comment about the lack of major aft armament on the corvette, this is due to two things: 1) the need for a flat bottom on the vessel to make regular landing on planetary surfaces easy which results in 2) the lack of space on the upper aft hull the desired armament due to engineering equipment that must be mounted there instead. In an effort to make the Humanasol League Fleet ships more realistic as relatively primitive starships, I have deliberately included some weak spots, usually on the underside aft area of the warships. Since the Humanasol League ships normally operate in squadrons during combat operations, they watch each other's back. Also, gunboats usually serve as escorting smallcraft during any major combat engagement. On a lighter note, in "The Empire Strikes Back", how was the Millennium Falcon able to maneuver itself to latch onto the back of a Star Destroyer's command module unseen by other capital ships and escorting TIE fighters? It seems to me the Imperial Starfleet lacked any capital ships smaller than a battleship, at least as portrayed on film.
