I found this one, and wrote the words, last August. I was out by 1 year and 7 days.
Wait For Me
You don't hear me?
I called and called
The air so sharp
to my throat
the words fell back
Each a jagged shard
that slipped
effortlessly
down into
my heart
and bit deep
thick copper taste
and Salt, too much salt.
The path
you took
is broken and
my power to heal
fades fast.
Please wait for me.
