Description

Made of 3 Tara images w/ her blessing: here here, and here. The Japanese character is from her 'Temple Bell' shot: It's one half the symbol for Peace...
* * * * * *
'Capturing Tara' isn't easy (lol): She makes opulent & lush images yet she'll crop them like the most intimate objects. She makes sweeping & majestic images yet they feel like she made them just for you. She's classical---meaning she has balance, grace & proportion: Yet she posts sensual image after sumptuous image-- she does things with mere pots that a lot of people don't do with mountains: She's classical with a big deep heart... Annnnnnd... she posts Writing: Deep, touching, funny & sometimes devastating poems from her life or others' lives, or musings on the world we live in, and whatever she writes--whatever, however-- she always reveals love at the end. And here's the thing: Her love is all over everything. She loves creating, inspiring & supporting, she'll leave you poems for a comment (!) or just say "OMG!!!" and everyone who knows her knows that once she's your friend, she's your friend. Hell, she'll move half of Canada if you need it: To Tara, friendship is sacred; connection, divine and art? The voice of both. I am sooooooo happy I've become your friend Tara! May this little montage speak what words can't, and tell you that knowing you has been like those mountains you live near, or the many things you capture for us everyday: It's opulent, radiant & filled with love, and I'm so grateful to have found it in my life. Oh...and you know what that Japanese character means? It's an ancient Chinese drawing for "grain" and it meant: "The music of grains, swaying harmoniously in the wind." Couldn't have said it better myself...
* * * * * * I'll be back to comments tonight! Peace to all, Mark Visit Tara's gallery here. (Photoshop & Tara's images.)

You could not have described Tara any better than this. Every single word and the way you've interpreted her fotos is exactly who she is. She is one of my very, very, very best friends and I am blessed. And--she's a fricken riot, as you will soon find out!!

Oh Mark, this is gorgeous! I love what you've done with my photography in every iteration, both in this finished piece and in the interim steps you showed me earlier. Thank you so much, for both words and images. Your vision is a most excellent and worthy goal, my friend.

Is this the same Tara I know, or once knew? Ultra stellar Japanese character floats in lovely harmony with the amorphous, vividly colored, diffuse and somewhat grunged textures in this magnificent composition, Mark!

What gorgeous images, full of vibrant color and life. And your tribute to Tara is so heartfelt. It sent me on a wonderful journey through her gallery that I might not have taken had you not introduced and intrigued me with your amazing words. Her work spoke to me in so many ways, just as yours speaks to and touches me. CC

OMG! (Tara-esque..?) There is something about all of these shots that make them look like we're viewing through a cavern with a waterfall. I think it is so cool! Although, the bottom one is very bold as though it came out of the cave and sits at the entrance waiting to be discovered. Just lovely what you've done with her work, Mark. Awesome!
