Description

I have caught on digital camera the very rare and elusive Cloud Spider. From what I've seen, they live on very microscopic insects and gnats, or else something we cannot see, at least with the naked eye or with the macro lens. I hope that everyone has a great Tuesday! thank you for all the wonderful comments and faves Mike

Wow! I assume this was a critter on a thread. Great eye, incredible luck to capture it! It is a beautiful and evocative capture (if a little creepy). Good picture! I am so jealous of your photographic skill.

Put a lighter under it, see what it will do - lol... I believe in karma... I'm joking about burning a spider's butt and I believe I just got bit by one of them bastards in between the toes... I guess that'll teach me not to write like that - naw, it's too fun - lol

Great image, although if I saw something like that I'd be running in the other direction, not taking its picture! Excellent work getting the spider in such clear focus...I can see the hairs on its legs (which makes it even creepier). Vickie

They've been known to snare and consume small aircraft too! Particularly in the vicinity of the Bermuda triangle where a fairly large variant of the species is said to live high in the cumulus.
