heres another polar bear staying cool and sleeping at the same time ... its unbarely hot here this week .. its was 40 C + (104 F) with humidity yesterday

That's where I'd be too, given half a chance! Looks like a great place for a nap. And doesn't it seem cruel to keep these animals in a climate that they're not suited for? I love zoos for showing us these creatures we wouldn't see otherwise, but a large part of me thinks they're just wrong. I have a lot of internal arguments! That said, it's a wonderful shot, I love how his fur is drifting back in the water!

We're getting the same heat here now. Yesterday was only 99. :-) I think this bear has the right idea. Stay as cool as you can and, BTW, it does help to run to the ice house, buy a block of ice, go home, throw a towel on it and then sit... sit on it unti your knees come up over your ears - which in this heat is about 10 minutes. Then get up and put what's left in your drink and head indoors to sit under the ceiling fan!

First chance I have had to check in here at RR in the past few weeks and am using the computer at the local library. What a refreshing image to view. Hope he's staying cool up there. We never even reached the 90s here at all this Summer. I'll be back here eventually when finances seems to be in better control for me. Take care of yourself, Lu.
