Description

This is the first day bloom of a Lotus Blossom. This is a Mrs. Perry D. Slocum Lotus. It blooms for three days. Each day it starts closing at about 3 pm and each day the blossom turn more white and yellow. The final day is almost all white and the petals start dropping late day. I have one more bud on the plant that will probably bloom next week.
