Here is a bran that is about gone with the hole in the roof, I have to agreed with tennesseecowgirl that these old brans need to be photographs.

When I was young, these old barns were not so old and a drive in the country was an excitement as well as a reading lesson. The sides were billboards, the roofs an editorial. :-)There were not so many red barns as people seem to think barns ought to be. Most back then still had milkwash applied - dairy cows were popular, milk plentiful and milkwash was cheap. :-) This is a wonderful reminder of the days when farmers and community joined hands.
