My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

One of my favorite novels is Jazz by Toni Morrison, so whenever I see a reference to that word alone, I always imagine the languid, sensual prose of that novel...and what I really like is the fact that you have something as "jazzy" as true jazz itself...okay, maybe without the performers sweating under stage lights in a room filled with cigar and cigarette (and cigarillo) smoke, but still...you caught the undulant sway of great jazz trumpeting. Great work. I love it quite a lot. As always, your control of color and detail is top notch.

first, as I said in your previous update, I'm so happy for Bill. I hope he rests & heals deeply & wholly! As for the shot, yes it does look like jazz trumpets (in a flower-sort-of way lol) but the shot also feels like jazz trumpets sound, a deeper imitation I think. They have that brash, bold feeling, and there's a musical 'line' in there too. Fine shot, and you picked a great title to go along with it. If you meant that we should pull out the trumpets and play away for Bill, I'm with you!
