Perfect scene with perfect textures. Imho no need for more details as a rather distracting background.

This work has a really good feel to it, all it needs is a little more background work, that let's it down a little.

Seeing that all the good compliments had been taken I was going to just say, "Love this Scene," but then I caught the advice for background detail. I've thought about it awhile, and my conclusion is to disagree. I believe your background is in perfect balance, which is to say, it doesn't compete with the foreground. The pier is the subject and focus of this scene, after all. Often scenes of this type do lack background finish, or detail, but this scene is perfect as it it. It is beautiful, yet evokes a feeling of cold stormy loneliness.

Wonderful job with the wooden posts and blanks. Very realisitc. But Gunthar is right a little more detail in the background would make this one an 11 :) Other than that it's a great scene

Very good woodtextures - don't give this bridge a renewal- it's so pittoresc and look very real. The entire picture has a fine atmosphere - Great JOB!! Karin.

Magnificent work!! That may be the best wood texture i have seen on Renderosity, bar none. I assume those posts are lattices? they are perfect, you can almost hear the dock creaking. very difficult to critique a piece this technically sound IMO, so i cant think of much you could improve. a figure here or there of course could liven it up, but not if it breaks the somber mood you have going (did i just make a paradox?) anyway, excellent work, you gots skillz to spare
