Description
An ever-present threat to the aviators of Karwul are the Lithopters, who have the ability to make their own jet fuel from hydrocarbons in the lower atmosphere. Their mineral-encrusted shells are impervious to all but the largest weapons. They have tool-making ability but no-one has been willing to test if they have any real intelligence...
