This was taken this afternoon. I came home and passed thru and saw it out at the deck. Well, I just had to shoot it!! Enjoy. I am pretty sure this is the adult. The immature was shown earlier

Amazing capture! If you want to get another there is one who pecks the crud out of the metal grill on my fireplace lol. Suddenly I hear something that sounds like a jackhammer on metal and then I realize it is my visiting woodpecker! I think he is sharpening his beak! The pov is truly amazing!
