nice image... and the irony in the title... the code-names for some operations in ww2 have also been very euphemistically - omaha beach... this reminds me to an sentence in an novel of the strugazki-brothers - we are driving into the mushrooms... the answer of an soldier on a truck. a passer-by asked him for the goal of the trucks... yeah - but the mushrooms have been more nuclear... no young man should have such 'vacations' - abroad, to be under arms... interdict all wars and jail all politicians, speaking of necessity of military.
