Description
Today is a day like no other. For you and I have never been in this time and this space before. For today, like each of our days, is a brand new beginning and a time of new choices and new growth. It is a time for us to dare to live our lives as we know they can be. It is a time for us to believe that we can have it all. It is a time for us to release the old and allow something new and grander to come into our lives. It is a time of choices and a time of magical mysteries just waiting to unfold. If this sounds like a fairy tale, it is not... for it is our life unfolding before our very eyes and it is a time for us to behold the wonders that we have drawn into our lives. Would that we could but stay here for a bit longer... would that we could but stay a while. For this is the time of dreams to be realized... this is the time for our wishes to come true. This is a time for our wings to sprout and for us to fly to heavens above. Oh, what a glorious life it is... oh what fantastic mysteries we have yet to behold. So today... just for today... let us close our eyes and fall forward into our faith knowing that the good we desire is ours right now, right this very moment. It is ours... it has always been ours... and will always be ours if we so choose. How divine. How simply divine.

as always, there's your image & your words, and as always, your image isn't just a painting of your words but a vast landscape that complements & dances with your words. Your quote (from yourself—which has great wisdom), reminds me of a story which I hope I'm not repeating (lol) of my wanting to leave while waiting for one of my teachers; and finally I closed my eyes in frustration & my teacher came out, woke me up (so to speak) and said, "if you want to be here, be here; if you want to leave, leave; but remember, wherever you go, your real essence is inside, so you're always home. Do you understand?" I was too anxious to understand. So he said: "If you wait, I'll help you find 'home'." I waited & he did just what he said. (When I finally went to his little 'office' he held out his arms in embrace, as if to say, "you're home now"—not because I was with him, but because it was his job to introduce me to home inside myself. It's kind of the answer to your beautiful quote.) The image is one of your sumptuous pageants, a big ballet of burgeoning shapes & amber hues & your usual intertwining bands, with those "gayle" lights, like chandeliers across the walls & ceilings of the heart. And your color sense is impeccable, as always. It's a big concert hall sitting inside the soul where no doubt the music will be heavenly. And your small rectangle isn't a miniature of the whole (as you've done in other images) but a little 'being', one of us maybe, surrounded by a jeweled opening. Sublime, Gayle. A beautiful piece in every way.
