I'm a mother of two, with 4 grandchildren (three boys and one girl). I've always loved art in just about any form and after seeing beautiful images created by others with PSP, I finally got my hands on it and thus began my cyber creations. No....not many here atm. I'll have to put up a few I've done since the one I have in my gallery.
Since that download of PSP, I've added to my 'arsenal' a bit. With DAZ Studio, Poser, Bryce, Hexagon and supporting apps, I should be able to create quite a bit. Still gotta learn more about modeling, but RL seems to delight in hampering that somewhat. But, I'll get there....just like the tortiose....slow and steady....LOL!
Yeah, I know it's not much of a bio...but hey.....tired from work and all. At least I can always change it when my mind is a bit sharper, huh?

Thanks, Vik! No..things haven't really settled down; we are finally going to be moving out this coming weekend. Won't have internet for a short bit, til cable gets installed. No phone for a while either. God willing, within a month, things will all be sorted once we get away from here.

I don't know much about Poser or any of the other people-makers, but I have noticed a vast number of mono-ethnic default settings, as if the assumption is that all people are pink and that no one would ever bother to desire rendering a brown skinned person! Ah, culture-based assumptions! They're as wonderful as dyptheria, though not quite as fun. But anyway, enough ranting! I really like this and you did capture a certain Rhiana-ness in this character, though she also reminds me of a friendly version of the character, Servalan, from the British sci-fi tv series, Blake's 7. Needless to say, I really liked that element of this image, as well as the overall image itself. I love her playful expression and her French Manicure pointing playfully at the viewer. She looks as if she's in the middle of a dance...the kind performed by one of those Orion Slave Girls from the Star Trek universe, only she isn't green and exuding male-controlling hormones. Oh well, ya can't have everything, I suppose. And now, I've revealed just how big a Star Trek nerd I am, since I mentioned those green dancing ladies!
MadameX
Ho! I remember the green dancing ladies myself, Chip! And to really date myself, I saw the first airing of that episode (along with all the rest of the original series); it was one of my favorite shows growing up. I liked the others, too, with DS9 and Voyager topping that list. As for pink people...lol...at the time I did this render, I wasn't financially able to get a nice darker skinned texture. As I said, I had Grace from DAZ, but that texture was very dark, and an older texture (I'd used it in another render and it didn't look very well. Not to mention, my old pc just didn't like it when I tried to render anything, much less an image of any kind of quality. Add to that, I was still learning poser and the Material Room was a very scary place for me. I appreciate you taking the time to check out my gallery, Chip! Thanks so much for stopping by!
