Description

A Close Combat Specialist examines a hand-made dagger on Hephestus. Close Combat Specialists are highly trained martial artists that specialize in fighting onboard starships in space. Usually leading boarding parties, they use small melee weapons, shotguns and pistols with deadly efficiency and flare. Close Combat Specialists have become like gunfighters of legend, constantly trying to determine who is the best of the best, garnering huge reputations and fame (or infamy) and generally dying young at the hands of another fighter who is faster, better or just luckier. Every successful specialist has what they call "the edge," something that makes them more than human. It could be psychic abilities, mastery of some ancient, rare martial art, cybernetics or even an alien weapon or artifact. Warp Master, Enigma and Moroccan Dreams from Daz3d.

Nice image a mood in the AO (etc). Fun to tie a 'new idea' with the 'old world'. Great work. Perhaps could have tossed in a comment about why they were "new" _ I'd guess doing the least 'property damage' for the most 'adversary damage' would have value.
