Description
Out fishing this morning and noticed this plant growing in the middle of a stump in the middle of the pond. The reservoir was created in 1962 and these stumps spend most of the spring and early summer under water. Obviously a seed found its way into the soft wood pulp and started to grow. Don't know if it will survive the winter or the spring flooding.
