Hello everyone and thanks for checking out my latest...
Ever since I got Rob (Shadownet) and BadKittehCo's "Windy Wizard Robes", I thought to do an image based on the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Putting the characters together was the easy part, but trying to make the splashing wave really took me a while.
The wave is a bunch of spheres combined into a metablob object in Vue, then given a watery texture. With all the weird shapes this took forever to render (about 3 hours). Then, I painted the foam and magic effects in Photoshop.
