Description

Hi All, Here are some shots I took in an area that runs alongside and under a local main road (you might have seen some already) As you bom along the main road you wouldn't think there was such beautiful wild flowers (AKA weeds) nearby. It's a shame the bee is out of focus in the left hand pic but I loved the flowers and thought they were worth a post. That sign would probably confuse me ....we don't have signs like that around here .....matter a fact ...we don't have a single street light in the whole county!

Wonderful captures and presentation. A context for these flowers adds an entirely different dimension. The flowers are "insignificant" on weeds, so by taking photos of their beauty, I think you prove they aren't weeds. Wildflowers are generally not weeds in my view. Some of the most beautiful are actually very hard to grow in home gardens because they're so fussy about their soil or companion plantings.
