Hi,
I tried to model wings for this guy but they looked rubbish so I resorted back to the paint them in version as I was getting bored with this.
I wont be doing any more to it.Thanks very much for the suggestions during the making and I tried to implement some of the agreeable (lol) ones in.

I love the details in the texture- the veins, skin deformations- all of these intricate subtleties that coalesce into the whole work or art. It is this attention to detail that makes your work so much of a joy to view, as there is a lot to study and the realism (or surrealism as it were) is off the scale! I am guessing from your caption that the wings got a bit frustrating; alas, it doesn't matter, this guy is plenty creepy and amazing as is. Sometimes one has to walk away from something and try another project or two- otherwise you'll loose your head... wait... too late for that ;)

Well, this is seriously cool. And I'm even more impressed that this was done using your mouse. Wonderful rays of light for your oh so awesome vampire bat character. Very creepy and excellent modeling work. Most impressive.
