Nice catch --- they seem to be caught off gaurd more often that people think. That is if what we think is an off guard look in fact is. I see it often. Sometimes it appears like the " where did you come from " look. as above.

Those eyes of hers look pretty startled to me....LOL Beautiful capture BTW Hubby and I used to drive by the lake and the deer are protected there We used to count how many we saw...once we got up to 200 something They are very pretty and I love to eat deer meat esp the deer roast But they reek havoc on an automobile when they leap across the road into the oncomming car...esp when it is yours......
