Hi everybody........
These are my mom's flowers well now mine
She called them her sleeping babies..cuz they went to sleep at dusk and opened in the morning...she babied and babied these flowers...This is the normal green color..and can be found in Kroger Stores etc...around Saint Patrick Day....they have clover like leaves...3 big petals...and a small delicate pink flower that is so so delicate...he also had the other variety that is purple so will post that soon....I am just afraid I will let these die out......I would be devestated..I had to order her one after the one like this one died...she was so tickled to get one like it in the mail....
I have kept and with hubbys help alive now for 4 yrs..so far so good
Also......
Good news on the Bone Scan...no new signs of cancer........that was a plus....But I have lots of compression fractures....I hurt so bad with these.....not counting the bone cancer itself..finally had to give in and go to E R tonight.....That fill in Dr told me to tell my Dr to up my dosage I shouldn't be in any pain......when it could be helped...he was really nice......I have also gained weight....I am now up to 126lbs...Yeah......a far cry from the 108
I usually weigh...I am getting a lil tummy roflol
And also last week when I got home from chemo the Health Dept called me and I thought what the heck..and she told me her name and I knew here..It seems when we filled out cards for Relay of Life the questionaire they were all put in a barrel.....First off they told me they were really impressed with my answers and 2nd they told me I had won a $50 dollar gift certificate
to Walmart...I was in shock.I didn't believe it at first LOL...She said come by when your feeling better and we will get a pic of you holding the gift card in your hand for the paper........Sure enough next week there was my pic......
On the downside...my car is sick again LOL in the repair shop........something about the brainbox......their cheapest price to order one was anywhere from $300 dollars all way to $600 dollars..I got on the phone and called some places and one place only wants $265 dollars tax and all.......Hubby is gonna take the part tomorrow...the fella at Auto Zone said we could might even get it cheaper if we had the serial number.......so called the shop back up and the worker said it was burned up you couldn't even see the numbers...so keep your fingers crossed it will be the cheap one.....Hubby has been working in tobacco everyday cutting..so guess that will go toward the payment of fixing the car.....last week he made almost $300 dollars for only a few hrs work...he loves to strip tobacco...not me I can sit it..and better than that smoke it LOL....
I am gonna try to get the girl to e mail me my pic of me accepting the check...to post on RR but the girl who e mails everything out just had her baby yesterday.......so may have to wait...sighs

I am tickled pink over my test results.....now if I could get the pain under control I would have it made......
Thank You all for your prayers......they have certainly worked,& I put in a good word on my behalf as well.......I only hope it is another 6 mos before I have another one.....I was hurting so bad that day from laying on those old tables.......walked to the steps like an old hunchback LOL when I got home...
I am only like answering some ebots every other day.......until I get to feeling back to par from my chemo..just bear with me please...I still feel blah from the chemo but trying to bounce back.....nothing like good news from bone scan test...and winning a gift card a $50 dollar one at that......

Hey, Susan, thanks for the update. My brother (who died of cancer) referred to chemo as "toxic waste" and he said it was a terrible thing to put anybody through. Love the flower. Long may it live! and we'll be praying for you and your husband.

This is a lovely, delicate flower. One that would be a favorite in a garden border. The simplicity is so gentle! As for me, all went well today. No results for a week but it looks good for now. I'm so glad to know your scan was good and that there might be relief for some of that pain yet. Hope the car situation is fixed soon too! :-)

A beautiful soft little pink flower that you have captured so nicely and I'm sure it will survive for you. I'm thrilled for you that your scan was good and I do hope they get that pain under control. They gave my sister a little pump thingy that seemed to work well for her.
