Description
The Stations of the Cross are by Groom, Tx.
The Cross is 190 feet tall which is 19 stories.
They say it can be see from 20 miles away.
The GPS coordinates are
35 degrees 12 minutes 34.88 seconds North
101 degrees 07 minutes 24.51 seconds West.
It is just off of I40 east of Amarillo, Tx.
I40 in that area is pretty straight and
four lane divided highway, so you do not
have to worry about running into on-coming
traffic if you spend too much time staring
at the cross.
If you are in the area, it is well worth your
time to stop and see it.
