Hollyhocks were always a main focus in my garden back in Texas. The tall spikes loaded with flowers would sway in the gentle off-shore breezes of the Gulf Coast. I taught my daughter how to take the flower apart and put it back together to make little dancers with flaring skirts and my son would suck the stamen for drops of sweet honey. This is a beautiful shot.

I love the lines coming out of the center of the flower. Great detail and color.
