Description

All the wining that I have done, about not being able to capture a dragonfly. Not completely satisfied yet but the best so far. Thank you to all those ‘insect’ posters that inspired me. not always easy to do, but you pulled it off. a word of advice, if they fly when you get too close, step back a little and they usually will return to the same spot.once they get use to you you can sometimes get within 6 inches without scaring them

They aren't easy and this is a great attempt. There is a little room for more focus but with this pov and taken so close, the macro effect will give you some softness no matter what you do. I think this is an excellent start to your career as a dragonfly photographer. :-)

Nice shot! They will keep getting better. For me, I've tried for a couple of years to get ANY shot of one of these blue guys but I can't seem to get near!
