Description

Here is a green striped Darner hovering over a pond. Out of fifty photos I got four worth saving. This is an example I kept. To get an in-flight photo first you need a cooperative dragon, second you need to be quick with the focus ring, third you need be fast and easy on the shutter button so as not to blur with you own part of the equation. Be patient and don't mind the deer flies biting you all the while. Hope you like it- GB-

excellent shot.before when I would try, I would prefocus on something close to an area hoping the dragonfly would fly into it.worked sometimes but so time consuming

Four out of fifty is a better ratio than I get! I would be happy with one in fifty. My last attempt (for a hour) did not yield a chance to even take one shot.
