Description

This was done for a challenge; the rules stated I could use the image for self-promotion as long as it wasn't available in media form. XD! In the dark of the night, there waits a chilling realization within the stairwell of an abandoned hospital. Just cleared for demolition, all of the lead based debris that once coated the halls were removed from the rotted, warped floors. All of the equipment left behind now removed to the appropriate place rather than in a building still tainted by death and decay. The light from the streetcorner streams in, highlighting the remnants of many years' worth of maintance, glistened upon a few, new decorations of crimson. The demolition crew had the shoplights lit on the rooftops in the hopes of avoiding night-time visitors. There in the silence, is an addition to the decades of deaths passage within these halls. The Yakuza, gifted with elemental technology, walks away from the encounter one enemy less than he started the day with. Death, as in life, remains unforgiving and blind. Not every 'good guy' wins the day, and not every 'bad guy' goes to jail. Really nice, atmospheric image! Fantastic lighting and postwork, too. It's also one of the better images with people that I've seen come out of C6. Keep up the great work!
